A Family Business
Some people said the Pharmacy business was about to collapse but with the services that we offer, which is second to none; we can assure you that WE ARE HERE FOR YOU as a team that you can depend upon. That is why we call ourselves a family. We have a formidable team who’s watch word is - “SERVICE PER EXCELLENCE” At Optnear Pharmacy, we always say ‘If YOU can think of it, WE can make it happen’. We are confident of our boast because of the team that we have put together.

They are:

Ade - The Manager and superintendent pharmacist. Being a daughter of a Chief Pharmacist who had a chain of pharmaceutical chemists in Africa, she graduated as a qualified pharmacist in 1994. She has had over 10 years experience in managing chemists. As a backbone for the “big boys”, she has managed pharmacies for Coop Chemist, Lloyd’s Chemist, and Safeway Pharmacy among others. With immeasurable experience both within the public and private sector, Ade has proved herself to be extremely hard working and customer focused. Her goal is to put a smile on the customer’s face at all costs.

Ade took over the management of Optnear Pharmacy in Nov. 2003 and since then, the number of prescriptions and customers has more than doubled. As she always says, “you need to experience our service, it is second to none and we are sure you’ll be satisfied”.

Ade is happily married to Steve with two adorable daughters, Jemima and Samuella.

Steve - Is the financial secretary. He is a Director and Secretary for Kadosh Corporation Company, London..

He is a teacher, a trainer, an exercise physiologist, a fitness professional, a DIYer and above all, a multi-instrumental musician.

He took over the management of Optnear Pharmacy with Ade in November 2003 and the chemist has seen a lot of changes. The new look of the chemist is due to a recent financial investment put into the business to give it a more appropriate, modern and 21-century contemporary look. In his own words, Steve will always say, “when it comes to the customers, DON’T HOLD BACK A PENNY”.

Amber - She is the supervisor in the chemist. A dedicated, focused and goal-oriented individual who does not hold back in providing the best service to her customers.
The wealth of experience that Amber has is an added bonus to the pharmacy. She harnesses these to provide a second to none service to achieve her goals. Since Amber stepped into the supervisory role, a lot has been achieved due to her dedication and commitment.

Rani - A very hard working woman, Rani is keen to listen and help out in every way possible. Being an experienced mother herself, she has adapted her experience from other areas of life to fit into what is required to make a pharmaceutical chemist a homely and accommodating atmosphere for the customers.

Jenny - Conscientious and self-motivated individual, Jenny has several years of experience in the customer service sector. She has dealt with so many, different types of customers. She is particularly good with the youth and the children. She is gentle, caring and trust-worthy.
